A dear friend has prompted us into being more forthcoming with information abour our ministry and with prayer news and requests. Thank you, Connie. We intend to try to keep this page updated. If you notice it hasn't changed for a while you could email us with a prompt, just to keep us on the ball. Go to Contact Us to shoot off a quick reminder. Thanks. Current prayer requests are listed below. 1. After having virtually the whole of 2009 disrupted by Philip being on jury service for a long, complicated trial we are now trying to settle in to a more "normal" way of life. This however, is proving difficult. Several aspects of our work and ministry were put on hold for the period and we are now trying to discern whether we should be continuing those ministries or looking for new/different priorities. Please pray for clarity of thought and vision and for discernment.2. We do have a small number of regular visitor/friends who for various reasons, no longer find traditional church and its structures helpful or encouraging in their walk with the Lord. They have strong faith but find themselves churchless. Having talked with the leadership of the Baptist Church, we will begin to have occasional gatherings for worship at Bridge House, which in UK church terms would be called "Emerging Church". The Baptist Church is fully supportive of this development. Please pray that the community of people that grows around Bridge House would be honouring to God: pray that we would be a Missional, worshipping community. 3. No doubt you have seen our Labyrinth on Google Earth. If not follow this link to the Labyrinth page and have a look. Please pray for inspiration and insight as we develop the art installations for the Labyrinth, and for wisdom to know how to offer the labyrinth for people and public to use. |
