There is always work to be done on the smallholding, and never enough time to do it. We are delighted to have folk over to lend a hand with this work. Some folk have simply given us a days work for the cost of their meals and refreshments. We have also had work experience visits from Autistic young adults and their tutors and carers. In addition, "work" can be very theraputic when on retreat, and this can be arranged as well. We generally consider this to be a "quid pro quo" exercise with no money changing hands. It is conceivable that we could "employ" someone for small amounts of work. Moreover, if there were the opportunity of our being paid to make our facilities for work available for work experience of some kind we would be delighted to try to help out.
